Turtleboy-Comic generously included the kid fursona version of Taaffea in some superhero peril artwork that they commissioned! And it's wild and awesome!!
And even comes in THREE flavors of danger!
Jesse (Turtleboy) and Taaffea (Princess Hammer) in Casual wear!
Turtleboy (Jesse) and Princess Hammer (Taaffea) in their hero costumes!
And also, Jesse (Turtleboy) and Taaffea (Princess Hammer) in their school uniforms!
These junior heroes are in so much danger!! AAAAH!!
Back in May, I hurt my back. I bent over and picked up something heavy without stretching first, I probably lifted with my back more than with my legs, and I hurt it.
For a while it seemed to go back and forth between being bad. and seeming like it was getting better.
I should have gone to see a doctor right away. But I did not.
9-10 days ago, it got worse. Ironically, I had finally made an appointment to see my doctor, and saw him two days after it got worse.
6 days ago, I started physiotherapy. But that will take a long time to help.
One of my biggest worries right now is that it hurts the most when I try to lie down. Sometimes I can find a position that allows me to fall asleep, but this only lasts a short time before I'm jolted awake by excruciating pain. Then my back starts to spasm in these charlie-horse like clenches of "stop you in your tracks" pain.
These generally persist until a pain reliever (extra strength tylenol) kicks in, anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes after taking it. But if I took a pain reliever to be able to do my bed-time physio exercises, then waited 30 to 60 minutes for it to be in full effect then did those exercises, which may have aggravated things then... then I'm waiting for it to be 4 hours after my last dose of tylenol to take another, in the hopes that the pain won't be so intense when I go to lie down that I might be able to get 3-4 hours of sleep.
Lying on my back, hurts. Lying on my front, hurts. Lying on my side, hurts.
Pain relief is fleeting.
What can I do? What options could I even have
Hello everybody!
I'm currently wanting to commission a bit of art, and I would appreciate some help in finding artists who are currently available for commission who would be able to do the work I am looking to have done!
What am I looking for?
I'm looking to get some single-character linearts with no background
I'm not looking for coloring this time, that's something I am planning to do myself.
The style I'm looking for is mid-late 80s or early 90s anime, the type of style and feeling from things like:
Gundam ZZ
Relic Armor Legaciam
Iczelion
Devil Hunter Yohko
(I know those are all vastly diffrerent styles, but it's more of a feeling that I'm looking for, rather than a direct adaptation into one of those specific styles)
The subject matter will be some OCs from the video game Phantasy Star Online 2. Reference material for these characters consisting of screenshots for each character will be provided by me.
The final item is pricing. As I am looking for a series of linearts each of a single character with the costume provided in reference material and one weapon/accessory each, and not finished pieces with backgrounds, coloring, and shading, I am also hoping to find an artist who will charge around $20 USD per piece. I have worked with artists in the past who do really great lineart work for less than that, but they are all busy currently and not able to take on new work. I would like to be able to pay more, but the US Dollar to Canadian Dollar conversion is absolutely kicking my ass right now (and on top of that, Paypal's conversions are out of step with the actual currency markets and is most decidedly not in my favor)
So, basically, if anybody who reads this journal is an artist that fits what I am looking for, or if anybody who reads this journal knows someone who fits what I am looking for, please let me know!!
Please and many thank yous!!
